So it's a weird thing being 12 weeks pregnant. The morning sickness is gone, the extreme fatigue has vanished (though from what I hear, this is only temporary) and since I'm not really showing yet, I almost don't even feel pregnant. But, since I have had many requests, I have broken down and taken a picture:
There is something that is new, however. I am an emotional wildcard. The slightest trigger can make me start sobbing, and I have noticed myself getting very cranky quite easily. This past weekend I borrowed a number of prenatal workout DVDs from the library, including one created in the early 90s by a bilingual pregnant chick wearing nylons and hot pink spandex, complete with the poofy hair and high tops. I decided to try out that video tonight, and felt completely ridculous. I turned around to find Jordan filming the whole thing on his cell phone, barely able to contain his laughter. Well, thanks to my new state of emotional instability, I started bawling. Not just crying, but seriously sobbing. Jordan felt so bad, but I could tell he was still laughing as he tried to help me calm down. I ended up laughing in the end too. That chick is ridiculous.
Britton, you make me laugh hysterically each time I read an update! You are such a great storyteller. I love the belly pic...you're a very cute soon-to-be mom :)
