ah, the inevitable

Jordan has lice now too. Thank you, Belize.

He's being smart though and doing the treatment during the day so that we can keep all the windows open (it's absolutely gorgeous here today) and so that we'll both get a good night's sleep. When I did the treatment, the fumes bothered us so badly that I kept getting up to make sure the dogs were still breathing and I even checked Jordan's pulse once in the middle of the night. Turns out he was awake when I did that, but he didn't say anything about it until the next morning. He must have just thought I was playing doctor in my sleep. ;)

Thankfully we don't have many more items left in the house that could possibly be laundered, except our bedding (for the freaking third time this week) and half a hamper of clothes. We are going to vacuum again, just in case.

In other (wonderful) news, I haven't been sick or excessively tired for the past 2 days, and I only needed a 20 minute nap today! Hopefully now I can have the energy to catch up in my classwork! And, just in case the awful morning/all-day-long sickness comes back, I received an amazing package from my mom today with all the remedies to combat the nausea (and rot my teeth): sour patch kids, hard candies, and every kind of gummy candy known to man. She also sent me some adorable maternity clothes that are "professional attire" for the hospital. So cute!!!
