We try to limit Marshall's "screen time," but he's recently become enamored with the Toy Story movies. He'll carry around the VHS cases, holding them up for us to put them in the VCR. If that doesn't work, he grabs one of his slippers (with Buzz and Woody on the front) and hold up both. If all these efforts fail, he'll simply put the movie in himself and push play. SERIOUSLY??
I discovered this morning that Marshall has molars! He has one on each side on top, and I can see one on each side cutting through on the bottom. He likes to eat cheese, grapes (cut up, of course), apple slices... actually, he eats basically any fruit or vegetable we put in front of him. He gobbled down cucumber slices ("cookies") after he saw us eating some Girl Scout cookies. He even uses a spoon!
He is sleeping great, and still taking a 2-3 hr nap in the afternoon.
He is running everywhere, and figuring out how to climb. He goes up and down stairs.
He knows what a chicken says ("aaaaaaaaah da da da da da da"), what he likes best for breakfast ("nanana"), who Sydney and Austin are ("dah") and how to tell us he's finished eating ("aw daw" with the sign for all done).
He feeds his baby (my doll from childhood), he makes his animal crackers run across the table, he "reads" books, he dances, and he races his cars.
He's our pride and joy and we love him so much!!
Sounds like he is quite the wonderful little boy. Now where do you suppose he gets that??? Every post you make puts a smile on my face that lasts all day long. Thank you Britton and Jordan for such a wonderful great grandson. Love to all three of you. Grammy
