After staying overnight at the waterpark we went to the Royals baseball game. Marshall kept saying we were all going to be "basemen" and we were going to run the bases. He had a great time until the 100 degree weather and no-nap finally caught up with him around the 7th inning stretch, at which point we called it quits early while we were ahead.
Here I am at 21 weeks. I'm feeling good. I have run nearly everyday this month, which feels like a big accomplishment, since I didn't really exercise much at all when I was pregnant with Marshall except for the occasional walk here and there or swim in the pool. But, unlike any other time in my running past when I have run nearly everyday for a month, running just seems to keep getting more and more difficult as opposed to easier each day. I'm about to start a difficult rotation next month in the PICU with crazy hours so I know my opportunities for exercise will be few and far between. I've gotten my hands on some prenatal yoga videos and even stumbled upon a prenatal yoga class at the local community center to help me restore my mind and body during this upcoming difficult month. We go in for our fetal echocardiogram (since I had my congenital heart defect, all my children have a 5% of inheriting a heart defect as well) on August 1st so stay tuned for some detailed pictures of Baby Z. The baby's kicking so much lately. Jordan finally felt Baby move a few days ago.

Marshall is such a handsom little man these days!
