It was so warm here this weekend! Yesterday, Jordan and I pushed Marshall in the jogger stroller as we went for a 4 mile run in the country. The gravel and hills made the run pretty tough. Later, we decided to take further advantage of the nice weather and pulled Marshall in the trailer as we rode bikes around the lake by our house. It was so fun. Then, we took the dogs on a nice long walk.
Today, we went for a run on the soft dirt trail by the levee. Marshall slept the whole time, but we had a great run- another 4 miles. We're running in a relay race from Kansas City to Lawrence in a week, so we're trying to get in some amount of running before then. I bet pushing the stroller is good training. :)
It was super hot in our house- like 78- so here's a picture of Marshall, chilling sans t-shirt with Daddy and Austin:
We dressed Marshall up in an adorable Easter outfit this morning, featuring a cute pair of khaki pants, with a white dress shirt and a blue and green sweater vest, but he decided to have an explosive diaper just as we were walking into church this morning. The only outfit we had in the diaper bag was a pair of footed jammies, so we slipped them on and put the vest on over top. Yup- we're those kind of parents. :) So, here's a picture of him in one of his summery outfits... too bad this was the first time wearing it and he might only get to wear it 1 or 2 more times before he outgrows it!
