revote?

Well, thank you to those of you who voted for Nov. 7th or 8th for Baby Z's birthday (for my sake), but unfortunately, we have yet to meet him/her. Revotes are allowed. :)

Today Jordan and I went on a 6.8 mile walk with the dogs in the gorgeous weather. Part of the walk was on a limestone bike path. At Jordan's suggestion, I stopped a did a few jumping jacks hoping to help Baby Z drop, but I don't think it did much except put more pressure on my bladder. :) I even jogged for a little while. I was amazed that I could! So, if nothing happens between now and our OB appointment tomorrow at noon, I might go for a jog tomorrow morning... with my cell phone in hand, of course.

Tomorrow we're scheduled for an ultrasound to measure the amount of amniotic fluid, to make sure the placenta isn't too calcified (i.e. becoming non-functional), and that Baby Z is still able to move relatively comfortably. Then, afterwards, I'll have another check-up to see if we've progressed any farther since last week in terms of dilation and/or effacement. If it looks like we're making good progress, we may get to go in Thursday morning for our induction as opposed to Thursday night for a Friday morning delivery.

We'll post another update tomorrow!
