Sometimes we let Marshall sit and play while we make dinner or get our things together in the morning before work. Recently, whenever I've come in to check on him, I find him looking at books. Sometimes he is turning the pages and even making little noises as he looks at the pictures, as if he's reading. Once, I said his name upon finding him, and he quickly turned in my direction and shoved the book away, as if to say, "What?? I wasn't doing anything!"
