Happy Halloween!

Here are a few of our favorite fall things:

Pear-pumpkin bread. Yummy!

Go Jayhawks!

Roasted pumpkin seeds... mmmm (not for Marshall, yet):

Trick-or-Treat!

Playing in the leaves:

Pumpkin Patch!

Halloween!!! This is Daddy's Halloween costume from his first Halloween. Marshall only kept the colorful wig on for about .2 seconds before ripping it off and trying to eat it.

I'm so glad I got to spend this Halloween with the family. I was gone for 6 days on the first round of residency interviews: Wash U, Baylor, and UT-SW: Austin. This week I leave for SLU and the Univ. of Iowa. After that, it's UT-SW: Dallas, Children's Mercy and KU here in town, and that wraps up the fall interviews I've decided to keep. My next ones aren't until January (Creighton, Des Moines and Columbia) but we'll see... I'm thinking of canceling those, too.

While it might have been hard for me to be gone, what with Marshall taking 8 steps alone during my absence, I'm certain it was even more difficult to have single-parenthood thrust upon Jordan. Thanks, honey (and Grandpa Zuccarelli!!)!
