3 months to go!

Can you believe there are only 3 months to go until our due date?! Okay, I guess three months and 1 day. ;)

Today we had another OB appointment and here are some updates: 1) Though I was anemic at a previous check-up (Hb 9.9), my Hb is back up today at 11.3 (>11 is considered normal for pregnant women). My OB recommended I start taking an iron supplement anyway. 2) I've gained 18 lbs so far during the pregnancy. AAAAH! I am now 0.5lbs away from out-weighing Jordan, according to the doctor's office scale, but then again, he drank an entire Nalgene water bottle full of water before stepping onto the scale, so I probably DO out-weigh him already. ;) 3) I do not have gestational diabetes! I had the test today, and not only did I not show impaired glucose tolerance after the challenge, but I was actually hypoglycemic. Oops. ;) The juice was actually not too bad... nothing worse than anything I drank in college, anyway. ;)

This weekend was a pretty great one. I only had to work a half-day at the VA hospital on Saturday, and when I got home, after running a couple of errands, Jordan and I were able to spend the whole afternoon together. We hooked the dogs up to their tethers in the backyard and played with them with a hose and a couple of tennis balls. They loved it (and they couldn't run away and jump into the neighbor's pool this time, Mom, so I loved it too!). Then we caught up on some of our favorite TV shows and unpacked a little of the house. Since I didn't have to work at all on Sunday, we were able to have a nice breakfast together and take the dogs for a nice long walk before going to church. Later that day we rode bikes to Ben and Jerry's and got ice cream. We wrapped up the day by grilling some burgers and sitting out on the patio of our new house, which we love. ;) Once I'm able to pick up some of the clutter from unpacking, I promise I'll take some photos and post them!

I'm getting really excited for my baby shower coming up, especially since I recently found out that my mom, dad, brother and sister are going to be able to come!!! I can't believe how quickly our due date is approaching!
