sucky:
1) not figuring out you have a UTI until you have pyelonephritis (thanks to the constant urgency and urinary frequency that accompany pregnancy)
2) being uncomfortable as your skin stretches
3) needing 7 pillows to sleep for 30 minute stretches at a time
4) being hungry all the time
not-sucky-at-all:
1) feeling the baby kick!!!!!!!!!!!
2) eating an entire box of Mac N' Cheese without anyone criticizing you (this, by the way, is one of my "true" pregnancy cravings. I HATED Mac N' Cheese growing up. I must have gotten that from my dad, who is so grossed out by it that he used to gag/vomit while making it for my brother and sisters. But now, it's the one thing I crave at all hours of the day)
3) taking naps
4) wearing pants with elastic
5) eating oreos in bed in the middle of the night (thanks, hubby!)
6) ***DAD DISCLAIMER: you might not want to read this next one*** reaching Tanner Stage 5! Woo hoo! Finally!!!! It's about time.
I'm sure these two lists will continue to grow. I'm so excited to get to feel the baby move! I thought I was feeling movement last week, but today, I was sure. Hopefully Jordan will get to feel it on the outside soon! We'll be 19 weeks on Wednesday.
The boards are coming up this week- Thursday. I went today to check out the testing center. Hopefully all of this intense studying will pay off!
Then, on Friday I get to start my vacation! Hooray!

Britton, you are so funny! That's so cool that you can already feel Baby Zuccinni! Good luck again on your boards; I know you'll do great! (Don't I use a lot of exclamation points?)
ReplyDeleteI can't spell zuccinni either!
ReplyDeletetanner stage 5....love it! you crack me up!
ReplyDeleteMay Tanner stage 5 stay with you after the pregnancy! I remember the need for all the pillows. There is a pregnancy pillow called a snoogle that is expensive, but so worth the price for decent support. I can't sleep without mine now.
ReplyDeleteMy mom just ordered me one, Kendra! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteoooh yes. the snoogle. I couldn't sleep without mine either when I was pregnant! I miss my snoogle... So happy that you can feel the baby moving around!
