More Easter

On Saturday we drove ~2 hours to Columbia, MO to meet up with my older sister, her husband and their two boys, who had traveled there from Atlanta to visit my sister's in-laws. Marshall did great in the car, distracted by his Toy Story Magna Doodle that came from the Grammy Easter Bunny and some books. We couldn't believe how big my nephews are getting! The boys had fun playing together at a local park and then we shared a wonderful picnic lunch, complete with Marshall eating a dropped piece of cheese off the ground... awesome. Afterwards we went to another park where they had a huge Easter egg hunt organized. Marshall posed for a picture with the Easter bunny and gave him a hug and a high-five. He snoozed the whole drive home.

Sunday morning we had a nice breakfast together and then went to look for Easter eggs in the front yard. Marshall could have hunted for those eggs for hours!

After the egg hunt, we went to church. Marshall wore the same suit his father wore for Easter when he was Marshall's age! Adorable!

Too bad his eyes were closed...

Our wonderful friends invited us over to their house for Easter brunch. It was delicious! It was so nice to spend the weekend with friends and family!

Tomorrow I start my last rotation of medical school- Urgent Care Pediatrics. In less than a month I'll officially be an MD! I'm equally excited and terrified, simultaneously. I'm just looking forward to the month I get to spend home with Marshall from May 20 - June 15, before I start orientation. We're planning a trip to Colorado and a trip to Washington to visit both sides of the family. I'm already getting so excited about planning adventures for in-between... the KC Zoo, the Children's Museum, the Farmstead... it's going to be a blast!
